McINTOSH 67 marker Y-DNA matches ELDER of "FRANKLIN CO PA"

Our Book Club is reading "AT THE WATER'S EDGE" by SARA GRUEN, fiction set in GLENURQUHART near Loch Ness and south of Inverness, Scotland.
In the ELDER DNA project we have a matching surname McINTOSH, 67 marker Y-DNA kit #295350,  ancestor listed as "Robert McINTOSH of GLENURQUHART,"
who immigrated to Nova Scotia in 1801.
His kit matches my brother's ELDER Y-DNA, #10042 in "FRANKLIN CO PA" chart,
along with matching McPHERSON kits and others.

ELDER and McPHERSON names are found in Nova Scotia.
ELDER and McPHERSON names are common around Inverness,
where Clan Mackintosh is known to have ancient headquarters.

"The GLEN OF URQUHART runs from Loch Ness at Urquhart Bay in the east to Corrimony and beyond in the west.
The River Enrick runs along its length, passing through Loch Meiklie."

Castle notes:

does match all our "FRANKLIN COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA" ELDER DNA group,
which includes my brother's kit #10042.

I am especially interested in the BANFFSHIRE SCOTLAND location, after researching

"PETER ELDER" kit #35714 now reports SNP R-DF49+ and R-DF13+

"PETER ELDER" Kit #35714 on HAPLOTREE REPORT PAGE
  now says:
SNP Tests Taken show PLUS for DF49+, DF13+

Checking the category in the R-L21 Study, to see if this "PETER ELDER" Kit #35714
is moved up with JOHNSTON kit #90660 category on page 4
at
https://www.familytreedna.com/public/r-l21/default.aspx?section=yresults

YES!  Now both are placed in the same category,
which has been changed and shortened slightly, to show mostly the 49+ (PLUS) SNP's:
See Category:
     x10. DF49+(L21>DF13>DF49; check 49+ SNPs)

"PETER ELDER" kit #35714 matches JOHNSTON kit #90660 with
101 of 111 markers.
Also matches JOHNSTONE kit #224025 of Lockerbie Scotland

in the southwest coast of Scotland.

JOHNSTONE of Lockerbie article in Wikipedia
at
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockerbie
Found in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, on the West Coast near Borders:
....  "Lockerbie House is an important establishment within Lockerbie, in the past having owned most of the land and housing within the town mainly through the Johnstone Baronets and Douglas family."
…"About 3 kilometres to the west of Lockerbie on 7 December 1593, Clan Johnstone fought Clan Maxwell at the Battle of Dryfe Sands. The Johnstones nearly exterminated the Maxwells involved in the battle, leading to the proverbial expression "Lockerbie Lick."
